Ray Wiley

Background: Ordained with the Assemblies of God. Has ministered in a variety of positions in Alaska, Maine and Pennsylvania and served as senior pastor in central Florida. Served as Assemblies of God missionary to Moldova. Currently is a nationally appointed Assemblies of God U.S. Missionary. BA in Bible/Theology from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL.

Jo Wiley
Registrar

Background: Jo is a nationally appointed U.S. Missionary with the Assemblies of God and brings extensive experience in office management and church office administration to her role as UBTC registrar. She formerly served with her husband as missionary to Moldova and prior to this they pastored in Florida. She received her ministerial training from Berean School of the Bible and Southeastern University and is credentialed with the Assemblies of God.

Gene Petty
UBTC Executive Committee Member / Instructor

Background: Ordained with the Assemblies of God. Forty-eight years of ministry experience including twenty-four years as senior pastor in churches in Missouri and Maine Twenty-one years as a District Official in the Northern New England District of the Assemblies of God serving in several capacities including District Superintendent. Received Bible and ministry education through Berean School of the Bible.

Eldon Brown
Instructor

Background: Served as Assemblies of God foreign missionary in Europe and Asia from 1964 to 1997 in a multitude of capacities included pastoring and church planting. From 1997 to present assigned to Assemblies of God U. S. Missions involved in Christian Education and ministry training. Served as Area Director of Tampa Bay UBTC from 1997 to 2005. MA from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield, MO

Ed Blough
Instructor

Background: Pastored for ten years at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Oldsmar, Florida. Served as Administrative Assistant at Victorious Life Church in Wesly Chapel, Florida. Taught for six years at Faith Theological Seminary. Ordained with the Assemblies of God. MA in Theology from Faith Theological Seminary, Tampa Florida.

Lynda Blough
Instructor

Background: Co pastured at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Oldsmar, Florida for ten years. Counseling and Suicide Prevention at Tampa Helpline in Tampa Florida. Volunteer with Pastoral Visitation Office at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa. Ordained with the Assemblies of God. PhD in Theology from Faith Theological Seminary, Tampa Florida.

Steve Deal
Instructor

Background: Senior pastor at All Nations Outreach Center in Tampa Florida since 1998. Extensive experience in urban evangelism in major U. S. cities including Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Tampa. Florida State Representative for the Black Fellowship of Assemblies of God. BA from Southeastern University, Lakeland, Florida. Ordained with the Assemblies of God.

Tom Smith
Instructor

Background: Previously served as senior pastor in Alaska for two years. Pastoral Counselor and Hospital Chaplaincy for 12 years. MA from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Doctoral candidate at Trinity Theological Seminary.

 

Sam Serrano
Instructor

Background: Sam is a UBTC graduate, and an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God where he is on Short Term Missionary Status. He makes frequent ministry trips to Cuba doing conferences and bringing study and evangelistic literature to the pastors. Sam teaches at UBTC and the Spanish District Institute.
 

Irene Serrano
Instructor

Background: Irene is a Graduate of Bible Institute in NY and UBTC in Tampa. She is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God where she is on Short Term Missionary Status.  She and her husband Sam make frequent ministry trips to Cuba. Irene teaches at UBTC and the Spanish District Institute.

Wayne Newman
Instructor

Background: Wayne is ordained with the Assemblies of God and since 1998 he has served as Senior Pastor at Bay Life Assembly of God in Tampa. He has been in pastoral ministry since 1987 and previously pastored several churches in Louisiana. He obtained his ministerial education at The School of Ministry in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Howard H. Drewitz Jr. 
Instructor

Background: Howard grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan and is a third generation Pentecostal Christian.  He has been actively involved in ministry since his youth and a licensed Assemblies of God minister for over 30 years.  He attended Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri and Bethany Bible College in Santa Cruz, California. Howard has served congregations in Detroit, Southfield, Plymouth, and Brighton, Michigan as well as in Sunnyvale, California.  He currently serves as Associate Pastor at Suncoast Cathedral in St. Petersburg, Florida and has taught for UBTC for several years.

Eunice Ramos 
Instructor

Eunice is a graduate of UBTC of Tampa. She is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God and has served as an Associate Pastor for three years at Iglesia Misionera, A.D., Tampa, FL.  She has been a serving member of the same for twenty-one years.  Eight years as Sunday School Minister of Education.
